I know exactly what you mean!
No, I have...Denise,
I know exactly what you mean!

No, I haven't found any support groups - haven't searched for any, really. I did sign up with my local autism center, but as you say, everything seems geared to more severe autism cases. We manage, although it does sometimes seem as if no one understands. My son's therapist is a great help :) And, of course, I do a lot of praying!

Thank you for commenting.

Best wishes,
PatricePatrice Fagnant-MacArthurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15146572541496916259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17245167.post-48973825675200109152011-04-19T11:22:54.255-04:002011-04-19T11:22:54.255-04:00A good list! He has refined me into a better person than I ever thought I could be. (Though I still have a long way to go...)

Have you found good online support groups for parents of kids with HFA or Asperger's? I visit the Well-Trained Minds special needs forum, and have found a couple of Yahoo Groups that are OK - they focus mostly on homeschooling issues. Our local Autism Society chapter has a parent group, but it seems geared more to typical autism. I'd love more.Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09561278428481539463noreply@blogger.com
