So technically, it isn't summer yet, but for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, these few days provide the greatest amount of daylight hours in the whole year. It's beautiful! People just feel better when the sun is shining. The sun gently wakes you in the morning (granted sometimes a little early!) and stays out until after 8 pm.
Tonight, after my boys were in bed, I went outside and sat out on the front stoop with my husband for a little while. We just sat there and read and listened to the birds chirping. It was wonderful.
Don't let these days of summer pass you by. Get out and enjoy them. Sit out and relax. Embrace summer!
