"Assisted Living" by John Desjarlais on Catholic Fiction Blog
Beginning today, check out "Assisted Living" by John Desjarlais on the Catholic Blog Fiction blog. It is a great tale of finding help when one least expects it.
Assisted living is often viewed as the best of both worlds. Assisted living residents are usually seniors who have had a slight decline in health in some way and need assistance performing one or more activities of daily living. Seniors who would like to live in a social environment with little responsibilities, and a place where care is easily accessible whenever the senior may need it are the type of seniors you will find in an assisted-living community. Thank you...
I am a life-long Roman Catholic, homeschooling mom of two boys (ages 12 and 10 1/2), and foster mom of two (ages 4 and 2), married for fifteen years. I am a freelance writer on topics of women's spirituality and a Senior Editor with Catholic Lane. I am also the author of "The Catholic Baby Name Book" and "Letters to Mary from a Young Mother." I have a BA in History and Fine Art and a Master of Arts Degree in Applied Theology

Book Review Disclosure
The FCC now requires book reviewers to disclose the following. Book reviews appear regularly on this website. While there are books that I have purchased or check out from the library that I review, in general I have received the books that I review for free with the understanding that I will review them. There is no expectation of a positive review unless the book is worthy of one, and there is no additional compensation.
