Signs of Spring

It has been brutally cold in these parts the past few days with wind chills below zero. Yet, amidst this late winter blast of arctic air, my daffodils are beginning to push through the ground. Those little green sprouts are a sure sign that spring is indeed right around the corner.

A Beautiful Second Act

  I turned fifty a couple of months ago, and while I accept my age and the grey hair and hormonal changes that go with it, I admit I cried...
