I apologize if my post yesterday was a bit melancholy. Regulars to my blog know that I have had a cold the entire month of December. Well, at my husband's insistance, I broke down and went to the doctor's last Wednesday and was given antibiotics which have been helping the various head symptoms I was suffering from, but have given me a whole new set of side-effects including exhaustion and nausea (I'm not sure which is worse at this point - the illness or the cure, but I have 5 more days to go on the meds) so I really have not been my most upbeat the past few days.
Today's first reading, however, offers a wonderful blessing for all of you, which I thought was perfect for the new year:
The Lord bless you and keep you!
The Lord let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you!
The Lord look upon your kindly and give you peace!
Numbers 6:24-26

Patrice,
Hope you're feeling better - it's hard to write when you don't feel well! Take care - I will be praying for you!
