Reluctant Catechist - A Sigh of Relief
I saw my Director of Religious Education today after mass and told her I was surprised to see that I was teaching 3rd grade but that I was willing to try. She was all apologetic about putting me in that position and as it turns out, the person who had been teaching 3rd grade last year really wanted that year again, so I am going to be helping her out (a role I can fill quite nicely) and the teenager who was going to help me out will be helping out another class. So, everyone was happy and the whole thing worked out well.
