The Sisters of St. Joseph of Springfield are in dire financial straits and need your help. Like many religious communities, they are facing an aging population and lack the resources to care for them. These are women who gave their lives to God and have given of themselves every day of their lives. They were the sisters who founded and run both the high school and college I attended. There are very few Catholics in Western Massachusetts whose lives weren't impacted in some way by these devoted women.
Their financial situation was front-page news in the local paper today:
If you can help them, please visit: http://www.ssjspringfield.org/partner-with-us/make-a-gift.html
Thank you!
