Elder Wisdom Circle
I read about the Elder Wisdom Circle in the May 2007 issue of Real Simple. This is a "rent-a-grandparent" program for the internet age. You can submit a question for a wise elder to answer. In a society that so values youth, I thought this site which celebrates the wisdom gained through experience is a wonderful idea. My grandparents passed on to their eternal reward many years ago, but I have always loved talking to senior citizens. You can learn so much from them if you are just willing to listen.
