However, take care and be earnestly on your guard
not to forget the things which your own eyes have seen,
nor let them slip from your memory as long as you live,

We have a responsibility to remember and pass on our faith. Where would Christianity be today if it had not been passed on from parent to child, from person to person, throughout the centuries? We all have the responsibility to evangelize, to share our faith. St. Francis taught us to "Preach the Gospel always; When necessary, use words." People can learn so much by our example.
